Managers and pairs: self joins on employees · exercise 1 of 1 · free preview
manager_id holds the emp_id of someone else in the same table. Join the table to itself with two aliases, one for the employee and one for the manager. Use LEFT JOIN so the top manager, who has no manager, stays in the result.
Show every employee's name and the name of their manager as manager (NULL for the top manager). Order by emp_id.
